{"id":1101,"date":"2016-05-25T02:56:23","date_gmt":"2016-05-25T02:56:23","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadinghorsestowater.net\/?p=1101"},"modified":"2016-05-29T04:03:36","modified_gmt":"2016-05-29T04:03:36","slug":"decisions-decisions","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadinghorsestowater.net\/?p=1101","title":{"rendered":"Decisions, Decisions&#8230;.."},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>Being born again, <span class=\"bkcol\">not<\/span> of <span class=\"bkcol\">corruptible<\/span> <span class=\"bkcol\">seed<\/span>, <span class=\"bkcol\">but<\/span> of incorruptible, by <span class=\"bkcol\">the<\/span> <span class=\"bkcol\">word<\/span> of <span class=\"bkcol\">God<\/span>, which liveth and abideth for ever. \u00a0I Peter 1:23<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><strong>You are born again. You have important decisions to make in your life. \u00a0You have prayed and asked God to help you make right decisions. \u00a0There are multiple opportunities being presented to you. \u00a0Which choice do you make? \u00a0Which opportunity is right?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Delight thyself also in the Lord; and He shall give thee the desires of thine heart. \u00a0Psalm 37:4 \u00a0\u00a0<\/em>(He will place His desires within you as you delight in Him.)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>How do I delight myself in the Lord? \u00a0How do you learn of Him?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>These <\/em>(the scriptures)<em> are they which testify of me&#8230;.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<li><strong>How do I walk in the Spirit and realize God&#8217;s desires within me?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly&#8230;&#8230;..<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<li><strong>How do I keep from sinning?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Thy word have I hid in mine heart that I might not sin against thee.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: center;\">\n<li><strong>How do I keep my heart clean so God will continue to hear me?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Now ye are clean through <span class=\"bkcol\">the word<\/span> which I have spoken unto you.<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>How do I make the right decision?\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Delight yourself in the Lord, walk in the Spirit, hide God&#8217;s word in your heart, wash yourself in the water of the written word, and then,&#8230;&#8230;. do what you desire.*<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>What if I all the choices that are available to me are good and desirable choices? \u00a0How do I decide which one ?<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. \u00a0In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. \u00a0Proverbs 3:5&amp;6<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>This means that if you and I bring God into our decision making by trusting Him \u00a0completely and acknowledging Him in all our ways, then even when we lift our foot to take a step, not knowing for sure where to put it back down, He will direct us.<\/strong><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n<p><strong>*I am hesitant to make lists of things to help spiritually because I think many of us just check off the items and then expect God&#8217;s blessing. \u00a0The things listed in the paragraph above are a way of life, not a one time emergency procedure. \u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>I must also caution you to be honest with yourself and God. \u00a0You can feign\u00a0spirituality by\u00a0doing a list of items in order to convince yourself of God&#8217;s will in a matter that you have already decided.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Measure everything by this rule; the Holy Spirit will never lead you contrary to Scripture.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>\u00a0Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly&#8230;.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever. \u00a0I Peter 1:23 You are born again.
