{"id":1187,"date":"2016-07-20T17:47:04","date_gmt":"2016-07-20T17:47:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadinghorsestowater.net\/?p=1187"},"modified":"2016-07-24T20:49:30","modified_gmt":"2016-07-24T20:49:30","slug":"full-access","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadinghorsestowater.net\/?p=1187","title":{"rendered":"Full Access"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>The terms <em>accessible<\/em>\u00a0and <em>readily accessible\u00a0<\/em>have been used over the years in plumbing codes to describe access to certain plumbing equipment\/appurtenances. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>If the term <em>accessible<\/em>\u00a0is used, the plumbing appurtenance may be concealed but is accessed by opening a panel or access door. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>If the term <em>readily accessible\u00a0<\/em>is used, the plumbing appurtenance must not be concealed. \u00a0It must be in the open, visible, and ready for <em>hands on\u00a0<\/em>direct access.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>When Jesus Christ was on the cross accomplishing the work of salvation, He cried out at a certain point,\u00a0<em>It is finished!<\/em>\u00a0 The Scripture also tells us, that at the time of Christ&#8217;s death, the veil of the temple was torn in two from the top to the bottom, revealing and exposing the Holy Place where God&#8217;s presence had been manifested. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Access to God under the Old Testament Law was through the priesthood. \u00a0A blood sacrifice was made each year by the high priest for the nation of Israel. \u00a0The high priest had to bring the blood of a proper sacrifice, with a proper heart on behalf of himself and the people, and sprinkle the blood upon the mercy seat above the ark of the covenant. \u00a0If the high priest emerged from the Holy of Holy&#8217;s alive, the people knew God had accepted their sacrifice. <\/strong><strong>Under the Law, God was accessible only through the earthly priesthood.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>The work of Christ on the cross, His death, burial and resurrection, made it possible for God to be <em>readily accessible\u00a0<\/em>to all believers under the New Covenant. \u00a0Jesus Christ was the one time perfect sacrifice for our sin. \u00a0The rending of the veil of the temple indicated that direct access to God was now available through the death, burial and resurrection (one time perfect sacrifice and shed blood) of Jesus Christ. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Messiah Jesus made the way into God&#8217;s presence possible for each and every individual believer. \u00a0Under Grace or the New Covenant, every believer is a member of the priesthood and has direct access to God through the righteousness and merit of Jesus Christ alone. Through Jesus Christ, God is <em>readily accessible.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><em>But ye<\/em> <em>are<\/em> <em>a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an<\/em><em> holy<\/em><em> nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:<\/em> \u00a0I Peter 2:9<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need. \u00a0Hebrews 4: 14-16<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Are you living under the Law or under Grace?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>Note: \u00a0On the part of believers, God wants our hearts to be <em>readily<\/em> <em>accessible<\/em> to Him. \u00a0He wants full and ready access into the deepest, most remote, and hidden crevices of the believer&#8217;s heart. Believers must make those hidden areas of our heart &#8220;readily accessible&#8221; to God for forgiveness and cleansing. \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong>We must take Him there and show Him the sin that cannot be removed through our own efforts. \u00a0We must name the sin that is hidden there, confess it (say the same thing about it that God says) and let Him wash it away in the blood of Jesus Christ His Son.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\"><strong><em>If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our\u00a0sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. \u00a0I John 1:9<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The terms accessible\u00a0and readily accessible\u00a0have been used over the years in plumbing codes to describe access to certain plumbing equipment\/appurtenances.
