{"id":1268,"date":"2016-09-26T00:46:15","date_gmt":"2016-09-26T00:46:15","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadinghorsestowater.net\/?p=1268"},"modified":"2017-02-01T04:05:33","modified_gmt":"2017-02-01T04:05:33","slug":"thinking-biblically-about-faith-again","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadinghorsestowater.net\/?p=1268","title":{"rendered":"Thinking Biblically About Faith Again"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>But without faith <\/em>(a firm persuasion or conviction)<em> it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">must believe that he is<\/span>, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.<\/em>\u00a0 Hebrews 11:6<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>God is revealed in creation:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>The heavens declare the glory of God; and the<\/strong><\/em> <strong><em>firmament sheweth his handywork.<\/em> \u00a0Psalm 19:1<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><em>For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:<\/em>\u00a0 Romans 1:20<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>God&#8217;s laws are written upon man&#8217;s heart and conscience:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>For when the Gentiles, which have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these, having not the law, are a law unto themselves:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Which shew the work of the law written in their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts the mean while accusing or else excusing one another; \u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>Romans 2:14 &amp; 15<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>God is unveiled in Jesus Christ: \u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. \u00a0<\/strong><\/em><em><strong>For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. \u00a0Colossians 2:8 &amp; 9<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent. \u00a0<\/strong><\/em><strong>John 17:3.<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>God is revealed in a changed life:<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. \u00a0II Corinthians 5:17<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><strong>Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?
