Does being disrespected make you angry?\u00a0 Is that anger justified?\u00a0 Certainly if anyone should have been accorded respect, it would be the Lord of Glory.\u00a0 His anger would certainly have been justified.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Let<\/span><\/em> this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:\u00a0Who, being in<\/em> the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:\u00a0But made <\/em>himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and<\/em> was made in the likeness of men:\u00a0And being found in fashion as a man,<\/strong><\/em> he <\/em>humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of<\/em> the <\/em>cross.<\/em>\u00a0 Philippians 2:5-8<\/p>\n

The tiny word let<\/em>\u00a0implies yielding and\/or submitting to the truth (thy word is truth).\u00a0 Only genuine believers can do this.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Can a man by taking thought add to his stature?\u00a0 Can a leopard change<\/em> his spots?<\/em>\u00a0 Not at all! But with God, nothing is impossible.\u00a0<\/em> Having the mind of Christ is a supernatural enablement which is the result of regeneration (being born again) and sanctification [letting the word of Christ dwell (take up its life) in you richly].<\/p>\n

For this cause also thank we God without ceasing, because, when ye received the word of God which ye heard of us, ye received\u00a0it\u00a0not\u00a0as\u00a0the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, <\/em><\/strong>which effectually worketh also in you that believe.\u00a0<\/em> I Thessalonians 2:13<\/strong><\/p>\n

For who hath known\u00a0the\u00a0mind\u00a0of\u00a0the\u00a0Lord, that he may instruct him? But we <\/em>(born again ones) have\u00a0the\u00a0mind\u00a0of\u00a0Christ.<\/em> I Corinthians 2:16<\/p>\n

So, do you need to have respect in order to be effective? \u00a0If not, why are you angry?<\/strong><\/p>\n
