Many years ago as a young college student, I recall having a conversation with a fraternity brother whose name I cannot remember. \u00a0As a matter of fact, about the only thing I remember of the conversation is something I said concerning Jesus Christ that is burned into my memory. \u00a0In a noncommittal and uninformed attempt to say something positive about the Lord, I said I thought He was a good man. \u00a0I was wrong! \u00a0He cannot be a good man if He is not who He said He is. \u00a0If He is not who He said He is, then He can only be a fraud and a liar. \u00a0If He is who He said He is, He is so much more than just a good man.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0What did Jesus say about Himself? \u00a0Who did He say He is? \u00a0In His conversation with the Samaritan woman at the well, she said, in response to the Lord telling her things about herself; I know when Messias is come, he will tell us all things.<\/em>\u00a0 Messiah or Christ is the title given to the anointed one<\/em>\u00a0of Old Testament prophecy, the One<\/em>\u00a0sent from God. \u00a0Jesus responded to her comment; I\u00a0am He.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

When Jesus went up to Jerusalem and healed the impotent (blind, halt, or withered) man of his thirty-eight year long infirmity on the Sabbath, the Jewish religious leaders sought to have Him stoned. They sought to kill Him because He had not only broken the Sabbath, but had also said that God was His Father,…..making Himself equal with God, John 5:18. \u00a0(See also John 10:33)<\/strong><\/p>\n

In John chapter 8, while Jesus was teaching in the temple, the Pharisees questioned Him asking; Who art thou?<\/em>\u00a0and Whom makest thou thyself?<\/em>\u00a0 Jesus answered them; Verily, verily, I say unto you, before Abraham was, I am. \u00a0<\/em>\u00a0When Moses asked God at the burning bush whom he should say had sent him, God replied; Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

In John 10:37&38 Jesus challenged the Pharisees saying; \u00a0If I do not the works of my father, believe me not. \u00a0But if I do, though ye believe me not, believe the works: that ye may know and believe, that the Father is in me, and I in Him.<\/em>\u00a0 Jesus Christ came preaching, teaching, and healing to show unbelieving Israel that He is the promised Messiah. \u00a0In addition to the multitude of Old Testament prophecies that were fulfilled in Him, the eye witness evidence is overwhelming. \u00a0While He lived among us He changed water into wine, healed the sick, fed the multitudes, healed congenital defects, healed lepers, restored sight to the blind, raised the dead, walked on water, calmed the storm, rose again from the dead and transformed the lives of those who trusted in Him. \u00a0He displayed His power over sin, nature, disease, Satan, and finally death itself. He continues to minister among us by transforming the lives of young and old individuals, from every nation, tongue, and race, who trust in Him alone as Lord and Saviour.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Who is Jesus Christ? \u00a0He is God. \u00a0His message is true and His works prove it. \u00a0You should read His resume’. \u00a0It is called the Bible. \u00a0To ignore Christ is to spurn the love of God and leave your soul in jeopardy of eternal loss. \u00a0What will you do with Messiah Jesus?<\/strong><\/p>\n

And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.\u00a0<\/em>\u00a0John 17:3.<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
