The Christian life is a a life of righteousness, good works, and separation unto God from the evil ways of the world;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is your reasonable service.\u00a0 <\/em>And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what\u00a0is\u00a0that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.\u00a0<\/em>Romans 12:1-2<\/p>\n

a life manifested by speaking the truth;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

But above all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, neither by the earth, neither by any other oath: but let your yea be yea; and\u00a0your\u00a0nay, nay; lest ye fall into condemnation<\/em>.\u00a0James 5:12<\/p>\n

a life that maintains the sanctity of the home;<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Wives<\/strong>, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord.<\/strong>\u00a0 For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body.\u00a0\u00a0Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so\u00a0let\u00a0the wives\u00a0be\u00a0to their own husbands in every thing.<\/em><\/p>\n

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it;\u00a0<\/strong>That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word,\u00a0That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish.<\/em><\/p>\n

So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies.<\/strong> He that loveth his wife loveth himself.\u00a0\u00a0For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church:\u00a0For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.\u00a0\u00a0For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh.\u00a0\u00a0This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church.<\/em><\/p>\n

Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself;<\/strong> and the wife\u00a0see\u00a0that she reverence\u00a0her\u00a0husband.<\/em><\/p>\n

Children,<\/strong> obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.\u00a0\u00a0Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;)\u00a0That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.<\/em><\/p>\n

And, ye fathers<\/strong>, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. <\/em>Ephesians 5:22-6:4<\/p>\n

…let the word of Christ dwell (take up its life) in you richly…<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n
