To believe is to be persuaded of<\/em> – to be won over to a change of mind <\/em>and hence to place confidence in, to trust<\/em>.* In this sense it signifies, reliance upon, not mere credence<\/em>. [1]<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Only Trust Him <\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come, every soul by sin oppressed,
There\u2019s mercy with the Lord,
And He will surely give you rest
By trusting in His Word.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Refrain:<\/em>
Only trust Him, only trust Him,
Only trust Him now;
He will save you, He will save you,
He will save you now.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

For Jesus shed His precious blood
Rich blessings to bestow;
Plunge now into the crimson flood
That washes white as snow.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes, Jesus is the truth, the way,
That leads you into rest;
Believe in Him without delay
And you are fully blest.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Come, then, and join this holy band,
And on to glory go,
To dwell in that celestial land

Come now, and let us reason together, saith the LORD: though your sins be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson, they shall be as wool.<\/strong><\/em> Isaiah 1:18<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
