II Timothy 1:7<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\">The spirit of fear conveys timidity or dread.  It is to shrink from dangerous or difficult circumstances; to be hesitant,  fearful.  The spirit of fear affects our ability to do right.  It manifests itself first in our thoughts which become manifest or visible in our actions or lack of thereof.  The spirit of fear is not from God.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>But God has given us a spirit of power.   A spirit of power comes from confidence in His Word.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>For the which cause I also suffer these things: nevertheless I am not ashamed: <strong>for I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able to keep that which I have committed unto him against that day.   <\/strong>                                               II Timothy 1:12<strong><br><\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>But<\/strong> <strong>God has given us a spirit of love.  Love (biblical love) is the remedy for fear.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>There is no fear in love; but <strong>perfect love casteth out fear:<\/strong> because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.<\/em> I John 4:18<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><strong>But<\/strong> <strong>God has given us a sound mind.  A sound mind is a mind transformed and disciplined by the living Word.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>And be not conformed to this world: but <strong>be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, <\/strong>that ye may prove what&nbsp;is&nbsp;that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God. <\/em>Romans 12:2<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em>For <strong>the word of God&nbsp;is&nbsp;quick (living), <\/strong>and powerful, and sharper than any two edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, <\/em><strong><em>and&nbsp;is&nbsp;a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.<\/em> <\/strong>Hebrews 4:12<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center\"><em><strong>&#8230;let the word of Christ dwell<\/strong> <\/em><strong>(take up its life)<\/strong><em> <strong>in you richly&#8230;<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
