{"id":94,"date":"2014-08-31T00:02:42","date_gmt":"2014-08-31T00:02:42","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/leadinghorsestowater.net\/?p=94"},"modified":"2021-11-01T03:24:12","modified_gmt":"2021-11-01T03:24:12","slug":"which-came-first","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/leadinghorsestowater.net\/?p=94","title":{"rendered":"Which Came First?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>We are all familiar with the question: which came first, the chicken or the egg? \u00a0<\/strong><strong>May I present to you a similiar question: which came first, God or the universe?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">If God came first, then He is the Creator. \u00a0If the universe came first, then the idea of God is the product of man.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>The way that you and I live and think reveals what we really do believe.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Here&#8217;s another one for you: \u00a0which came first, a living cell or DNA?Can you have one without the other? \u00a0Isn&#8217;t DNA just basically information or genetic instruction that determines what &#8220;it&#8221; is?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>So where did the information come from? \u00a0<\/strong><strong>Did the information come first or &#8230;&#8230;.the source of information? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Isn&#8217;t specifically detailed\u00a0\u00a0and organized \u00a0information the result of intelligence or did some primordial computor explode somewhere spewing specifically detailed and organized information into the universe resulting in life?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Whichever way this question is answered&#8230;&#8230;..it will involve faith. \u00a0<\/strong><strong>According to WE Vine faith is defined as a <em>firm persuasion or conviction based on hearing.<\/em> \u00a0If you are an evolutionist there is no doubt in my mind that you have a large amount of faith. \u00a0Doesn&#8217;t that make you religious?<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are all familiar with the question: which came first, the chicken or the egg? \u00a0May I present to you a similiar question: which came first, God or the universe?
