From my wife today:

Are we thankful to God; our Creator and Sustainer,……or are we just thankful?

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father…….. James 1:17

A characteristic of the Spirit filled (controlled) believer:

Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ;  Ephesians 5:20
