The First Act of Obedience

Our first act of obedience to God is trusting Him for salvation.

Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: fothe LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.  Isaiah 12:2

(A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?   Psalm 27:1

The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.       Psalm118:14

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name           under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.               Acts 4:12

Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man                                                cometh unto the Father, but by me.                                         John 14:6

But as many as received him (Messiah Jesus), to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.  John 1:12&13

…let the word of Christ dwell in you richly…
